Functional Movement Assessments
Functional movement screenings can help in identifying compensation patterns, muscles that a over and/or under performing, and can help to restore your natural movement patterns. Your body functions better when each part is doing what it’s meant to do.
We offer two different movement screens:
FMS (Functional Movement Screen)
FMS is performed on patients who are not in pain, but who want to make sure they are moving properly.
SFMA (Selective Functional Movement Assessment)
SFMA is for patients who are in pain and need a more detailed screen to locate the source of the problem.
Corrective exercises can be utilized as a rehabilitation technique or for functional enhancement. In many cases injuries are caused by using improper movements, so to create the long lasting change its important correct those patterns. We can also focus on improving current patterns, this may be in the gym performing a squat or working on your golf swing.
Chiropractic Adjustment
The key is to identify the cause of skeletal displacements that are causing interference in the bodies ability to function and move properly or pain free. Chiropractic care is something that everyone could benefit from throughout different stages of life. The core of treatment is to use chiropractic adjusting techniques to restore optimal joint positioning, this allows the function to be restore, motion to improve and muscles to relax. We offer full spine and extremity adjustments in various styles to best suit our individual patients and meet their needs.

Myofascial Release
In support of the alignment and improved motion its important to focus on the musculature and supportive tissue structure. In acute (new) injuries, the soft tissue typically goes into a spastic/protective mode to prevent further injury. In chronic (old) injuries, the soft tissue is now accustomed to being shorted and tight. It is important to treat the body with complete care to avoid biomechanical imbalances, decrease overall pain, improve healing, and correct the problem to limit reoccurring incidences. We offer a variety of soft tissue treatments
Dry Cupping, Dry Needling, Active Release (ART), Instrument Assisted Soft-Tissue Mobilization (IASTM), Functional and Kinetic Treatment with Rehabilitation (FAKTR)
Kinisio-taping
Diverse taping techniques that specifically support functional movement through all phases of care. Taping techniques offer postural support, muscle re-education, bruising/swelling relief, stability/mobility, and pregnancy pain relief.
Kinesiotape, Rocktape, and Theratape
InLight Therapy
Light therapy devices emit special light energy (RED, BLUE & NEAR INFRARED) wavelengths to increase circulation to injury sites and areas of chronic pain.
As a multi pulsed system there are different expected results depending on targeted treatment:
rapid relief of pain/discomfort
improvement in sensation (neuropathy)
regeneration of damaged tissue
activate restorative healing at cellular level
speeds exercise recovery time
parasympathetic system activation (Blue)
mood disorders
energy levels
brain function
stress reduction
